Information We Collect
We collect information in a few ways:
- Newsletter signup: when you subscribe, we collect your email address (and first name, if you provide it) through our email service provider, AWeber.
- Contact form: if you message us through the Contact page, we collect your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message.
- Comments: if you comment on a post, we collect your name, email address, and (optionally) website. We use Gravatar to display an avatar linked to your email, and a cookie may be set so you don’t have to re-enter your details next time.
- Automatic/technical data: like most websites, we automatically receive some technical information when you visit — pages viewed, browser type, approximate location, and referring site — through our hosting platform (WordPress.com/Jetpack) and any analytics tools we use.
How We Use Your Information
- To send the newsletter you signed up for.
- To respond to messages sent through the Contact page.
- To display and moderate comments.
- To understand how people use the site so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Newsletter & Email
Our newsletter is sent through AWeber, a third-party email service provider. When you sign up, you’ll receive a confirmation email (double opt-in) before you’re added to the list. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. AWeber’s handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy, available at aweber.com.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them for basic site functionality, to remember comment details if you choose, and for aggregate visit statistics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work as well without them.
Third-Party Services
- WordPress.com / Jetpack — hosting and basic site statistics.
- AWeber — newsletter delivery and subscriber management.
- Gravatar (Automattic) — comment avatars, linked to commenter email addresses.

Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing wren@yourpotentialreality.com. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email we send.
Children’s Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
